Help

We will be adding more courses and content over the coming months, and we are working with a small group of test users who will help us improve the site, and report errors. Whether you have joined a course, or are a member of our teachers association (EBTA), the access to any protected areas of the website is called a membership. Once you have signed up to use the site you can log in and log out from the top menu.

During our launch phase, we are adding more material and may make some small changes to the site structure. Thank you for your patience.

Password reset? / Lost password?

Go to Member log in (on the main top menu) and below the password box click Forgot Password. On the next screen, enter your email address  to request a password reset. A link will then be sent directly to your email address. Within the email, click the link and enter a password of your choice.

How do I log out?

The main menu shows a member log in link and when you are logged in this changes to show log out. If you are in one of our course areas, then you will see a person icon (top right) and this is your account link. It also has a log out option. From any course page you can return to our home screen by clicking the EBED logo – the small image in the top left of the course page.

What is a membership?

If you have signed up for a course such as Smart Bridge, we still call it a membership. This is because it allows you to access the course and we will be adding more features in future especially for our course members.

Teachers who join our membership scheme (EBTA) can access the protected content on this site and this is another membership group.

Each type of membership may see different material (articles, videos, courses etc).

How to renew your membership

There is a help guide for membership renewals. Please take a look at How to renew your subscription. If you need any further help, please email us on support@ebedcio.org.uk

Refund policy

We cannot offer refunds for courses or memberships. This is because it is a “digital product” and you cannot unsee a video or reverse a download once you have had access to our protected content. We do hope that you are happy with your course purchase but we may be able to offer advice on alternatives which suit your needs.  A partial refund or an extension to the membership period, could be offered if our site was unavailable for more than 25% of your membership period and if no alternative was available during any such service suspension.

I already have a teacher membership (EBTA). How do I log in?

Existing members of EBTA can log in to the Teaching Hub with the Member log in link on the main menu.

Your user name is your email address and if you have not yet set up a password of your choice, then click on Member log in (on the main top menu) and below the password box click Forgot Password. On the next screen, enter your email address  to request a password reset. A link will then be sent directly to your email address. Within the email, click the link and enter a password of your choice.

The main main will then show “log out”, but if it still shows Member log in, then use your email and password to log in.

Next, go to Teaching Hub on the main menu to begin exploring the resources.

I need more help. How do I contact English Bridge Education and Development?
